Towns We Cover
We are based in Elsmere, so most jobs sit a short drive from our own doorstep. Erlanger, Edgewood and Fort Mitchell are regular stops, as are Covington and Villa Hills to the north. Heading south and west, we take on work in Florence, Union and Oakbrook, and we travel to Independence and Taylor Mill too.
Distance does not change the way a project is handled. Every homeowner gets the same free estimate and a written scope with each item spelled out. Our crew covers plantings, runs a magnet over the yard for stray nails and keeps the driveway open when the day wraps up. If your home sits near the outer edge of these towns, mention your street on the phone and we will tell you plainly whether it falls inside our usual range.
What We Plan For Across the Area
- 01
Older and newer homes side by side
The area mixes older houses, some with steep pitches, board decking and more than one layer of shingles, with newer subdivisions built on OSB sheathing. We check the layer count and the condition of the decking before we price anything, because both change the scope.
- 02
Freeze and thaw
Winters here swing above and below freezing again and again. Water that slips under a lifted shingle or a cracked flashing seal freezes, expands and widens the gap. Ice can also build at the eaves when attic heat melts snow higher up. Late summer and early fall are the calm window to reseal flashing, replace damaged shingles and make sure a new roof has ice and water shield along the eaves.
- 03
Spring storms
Spring and early summer bring thunderstorms with strong wind and, some years, hail. We look for creased or missing shingles, bruised granules and dented vents or gutters. Each spot gets photographed, which leaves you dated pictures to work from should you choose to file a claim.
- 04
Leaves and gutters
Mature trees fill gutters every fall. Clogged runs overflow against fascia and siding, then hold ice through winter. We pitch gutters correctly, space hangers closely and size downspouts so water leaves the roof edge and moves away from the foundation.
- 05
Permits and inspections
Many roof replacements call for a permit, and each city or county office sets its own rules. We find out what applies at your address, file for the permit when the job needs one and book the inspection, so approvals are lined up well before tear-off day.
